The 6th Annual Wine and Hops fundraiser hosted by Habitat for Humanity is scheduled for Friday, March 26 at the Pine Grove Country Club. You will have the opportunity to sample good beer, fine wine, Hors d'oeuvres and bid on various silent auction items. Tickets are $25 each, and available at the Habitat officein Kingsford. Proceeds benefit the local Habitat for Humanity Chapter. Northwoods Air Lifeline will have a Texas Hold-em tournament Friday February 26th at the Spread Eagle Club. Pre-register for 20 dollars with re-buys for 10 dollars. Doors open at 6 p.m. with the tournament starting at 7. Call 774-3306 for more information. Proceeds benefit Northwoods Airlifeline who offers free arial transport to sick patience in the area.
Disabled American Veterans Cloverland Chapter will have a spaghetti dinner at the Veterans Center on Breen Avenue in Kingsford February 27th. Dinner starts at 5 p.m. Adults 8 dollars, students eat for 4 dollars and kids 6 and under eat free. Proceeds benefit the Veteran's Center building fund. *Send your community announcements to
